EXOTIC SETTING FOR AN INTIMATE WEDDING CEREMONY
The Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens is the ideal setting for wedding ceremonies, the stunning landscape offers couples an exotic wedding location with a choice of intimate spaces and stunning backdrops. This outdoor venue can cater for large groups on the lawn and pond (approx 50-100) and smaller groups (approx 30) on the pond and Azumaya. For a really intimate wedding the Japanese Ceremonial Tea House is also available (no more than 5 people)
including celebrant or solmeniser and can be overlooked by (approx 10 people).

The Gardens can supply chairs, covers, bows, a table for the ceremony and simple decoration. If you would like to make an enquiry or request a price list please do so below.
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS
The Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens is also the perfect setting to have your Wedding Photographs taken, should you choose to have the Ceremony elsewhere or in a Church. There are some beautiful locations throughout the gardens, but you would need to book in advance to ensure your preferred date.

At Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens we can also help you with sourcing, musicians, celebrants, florists, reception venues, bridal wear and much more. We will also give the bridal party use of our magnificent Antique Japanese (Higasa) Parasol for their photo shoot.
