Enjoy a DAYTIME spooky walk in the Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens Woodlands. This scary landscape will provide a ghostly photo op for Adults and just enough scare for little monsters.

As part of this year’s experience an art installation by Sean Corcoran of Art Hand will provide additional interest as natural cotton thread will form many of the webs. This is part of an effort by the gardens to bring sustainability to more of the garden events.

ACCESSIBLITY

BUGGIES –
A Buggy Park will be available at entrance.
Unfortunately the Woodlands are not very accessible for Buggies due to the steep terrain. If bringing a buggy we would advise leaving it parked at ticket office taking baby in a harness or walking with toddlers.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY, we try to make the majority of the gardens and garden events as accessible as possible however, we regret that for this Halloween event the woodland area is not accessible due to the uneven terrain of this area.
We do hope to make more of the gardens wheelchair friendly as new developments progress, in the meantime areas 1-6 in gardens are fully accessible for normal garden visits.
